Gifted and Talented Program
GDCS Innovators:
The Innovator Program is designed for students in grades 6-8, offering them an opportunity to engage in hands-on, project-based learning. Students participate in quarterly or semester-long projects that meet once a week and encourage critical thinking. Through project-based learning (PBL), students take an active role by making choices about what they want to study. This allows deeper learning, allowing students to develop skills such as problem-solving, collaboration, and independent thinking.
By working on real-world challenges, students gain a deeper understanding of the subjects they explore. The Innovator Program fosters creativity, innovation, and self-directed learning, providing an environment where students can thrive academically. This program cultivates a strong sense of responsibility and leadership in students.
