Parents/Guardians of Future Graduates of Golden Door, Class of 2024,
I hope you are all well and enjoying the day!
Just a note to remind you of a few things that are going on with your child. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to me as soon as possible.
- Graduation Fees: The Graduation fee of
$160.00 is due on or before June 16th, 2024. Cash or money order
please. Please ask your child for a receipt of payment.
- Graduation Date: The final date will be set
by the end of the month. The date depends on the number of snow days we
have/have not used. Tentative date is June 20th, 2024
- Graduation requirements: Just a reminder,
any student who does not meet the criteria for graduation and/or any
student who chronically misbehaves (defiance/disrespect included)will not
be allowed to participate in our graduation activities. This includes
the graduation ceremony. Please speak to your child regularly about
this.
- Graduation Trip: Our plans for our 8th grade Trip to Philadelphia, PA. are set for June 6-June 7, 2024. We are in
WEEK 8 of participation points! Points are posted in my office every Monday for student review. Point reduction is based on behavior, uniform infractions, lack of effort and any type of disrespect. Please ASK your child how they are doing with their points. As discussed, participation in the 8th grade trip, as well as other 8thgraduation activities will be based on their points. Students must be at 90 percent or above. Students failing two subjects, will not be allowed to attend. If you have any questions regarding points, please email me.
The TRIP FEE is $175.00 and due by MAY 31st, 2024. Once payment is made, you will receive a trip packet with our itinerary and all necessary information.
- HIGH SCHOOL: High School acceptances are
rolling in! If your child has not applied to a high school, PLEASE email
me. I will help you! Additionally, If you need assistance with
financial aid paperwork, contact me. Send in copies of acceptance
letters so I can post and we can all celebrate!
