RFP Details for Hosted VOIP System to be posted online

 

The Jersey City Golden Door Charter School is a K-8 charter school with an enrollment of 500 students at a single site location.  The Jersey City Golden Door Charter School (hereafter referred to as “GDCS”) is located at 180 Ninth Street, Jersey City, NJ  07302. 

 

The GDCS seeks services for a hosted VOIP system for their single site location in Jersey City, NJ. All bidders must be designated as an Approved Telecom Provider through the federal E-Rate program. 

 

Services to include the following:

  1. Hosted IP PBX system for both voice and data, which includes two dedicated T-1 circuits and one Load balanced multi-wan router. 
  2. Unlimited local and long distance calling for 50 users. 
  3. Unified messaging, voice mail, and e-fax capabilities.
  4. Advanced features for one receptionist console as well as Auto Attendant and DID porting.
  5. Up to two POTS lines for modem and redundancy.
  6. 50 multi-line IP phones with POE and 10/100 switch capabilities.
  7. Three Layer-2 Ethernet POE 48-port managed switches with VLAN support
  8. Firewall with VPN solution
  9. All installation, software, support, and end-user training necessary to implement hosted IP phone system
  10. Necessary preliminary site modifications to current infrastructure to ensure successful deployment of hosted IP phone system (minimal verification of existing data network). 

 

All bidders must accept Net 30 terms for monthly recurring charges and a lease term of 60 months with a $1.00 buyout for all equipment and one-time charges.

 

The following selection criteria for evaluation of bids are as follows:

  1. Management and reliability –Provide three relevant references
  2. Cost – Include a detailed cost itemization for all fees necessary to implement the hosted IP phone system. 
  3. Technical – All services must be scalable and portable.
