The Golden Door Charter School is proving that every child can succeed when given the right opportunities. Inside bright and colorful classrooms, dynamic teachers engage elementary students in fast-paced and highly interactive reading, language/writing, spelling, mathematics, social studies, science and character education lessons that have been aligned closely to the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards.
In the middle school curriculum rich and carefully crafted lessons are executed departmentally in language arts literacy (literature based reading and writing), mathematics, science, history and geography.
Foreign language, music, and the arts broaden students’ understanding of the world in the tradition of the classical liberal arts education. In addition, health and physical education broaden student awareness of the importance of healthy living. Students are on the cutting edge of technology with a newly refreshed computer lab where a certified teacher of technology/media specialist teaches the latest technology. A fully integrated character education program contributes to a safe and orderly learning environment.
